I must admit, upon reflection, the Company of the Greased Ferret had as shaky a beginning as one could imagine. If you look at some of the journals that various members kept you get the feeling of a diverse band with diverse ideals. It's a miracle they never fought amongst themselves. Maybe that is what made them successful. They possessed different ideals yet had cool heads enough to realize the different strengths and weaknesses they all possessed.

Included here are journal entries from the company's first year. Note that retired often only denotes retirement from the company, not from the adventurers lifestyle. Early members include, but are not limited to the following:

This company has refrained from seeking fame and thus information is harder to find on them, but on the up side, most information gleaned is accurate.

Thus I present the Chronicles of the Company of the Greased Ferret. These journals and excerpts of my own are sponsored and retained by Twilight Hall in Berdusk as part of the Realms Lore Library. This company is but one of many that are being chronicled by me and others and noted as being an influence in the Realms, for good or ill, great or small, the Realms move to the aspirations of Adventurers.

Laertes is living in Silvery Moon and is the proud father of a Drow orphan.

Malagar is living in Waterdeep and is trying to open a school for warriors and sorcerers.

Cakl has joined the ranks of the Harpers and leads the resistance in Maztica, he is joined by Nonac Esool.

Roland has become a fulltime maker and seller of crossbows including the famous Roland Bow which bears his name.

Mara continues to be an outstanding member of the Harpers in Shadowdale.
