8) Cold and clear - the group clears out the old dwarven safehold discovering a shrine to Moradin, the Telstang metal which was was the objective, and encountered a new creature that looked like a cross between a gargoyle and a drow.8,000 cp, 200sp, 1000gp, 360xps

9) Cold and clear - group leaves the dwarven safehold and has a battle with goblins and another adventuring band.

1) Trapped in the choker caves below the sewers of Tilverton.

2) Fighting the Yaunti in their lair

5) Escape the Yaunti lair and end up in the vast swamp south of the Coast road on the Cormyr/Sembia border.

9) Encounter the Bog monster and help eliminate the giant mosquito threat. and meet up with Lord Wyvernspur's army.

13)Arrive at the ferry town of Wheloon and take a portal to just outside the bustling city of Arabel.

1700 years in the past

Day1) Arrive through time portal to the town of Coniferia- Party deputized in the service of the Emperor of Hlondath in the (Netheril) year 3522 to find and kill the wizard Dubricus, known to work Phaerimm. Cedar participates in mage duel against Adler of Tyche's Favored from Yeomund's Loft. Cedar wins. Met up with Peraus Wands to discuss situation. Headed out to find Dubricus. Fought 2 trolls that night.

Day2) Fought evil adventuring party (1 mage, 2 fighters, 2 monks) at a bridge across a river. One of the monks ran from battle. Party gains first intelligent weapon. Kerith discovers crossroads portal guarded by a fey named Thorgil. He informed us that Dubricus had taken over an old temple to Corellon Larethian.

Day3) Morning, Thorgil offers us the use of the crossroad (would cut days off our travel to the Temple of Corellon Larethian). Went through portal- entered dense forest. Fought 2 sword spiders and 3 wyverns.

Day4) Continued journey through forest. Fought 5 monstrous spiders. Reached a huge spider web lair. Fought a group of 3 Nettlestorm spiders. Came across a destroyed / wrapped in webbing Crystal Spelljamming ship owned by the group Tyche's Favored from Yeomund's Loft. Webbing strands the size of a man's arm. Heard fighting. Found Adler dying. Pushed on to find main lair- fought 1 Drider Sorcerer, 1 Gargantuan monstrous Spider, 1 medium monstrous Nettlestorm Spider, and 13 Small Monstrous Spiders. Barely won the battle- Oskar, Shane, Primula all down. Contacted by Peraus Wands- time estimate off- beware of Trolls (great). Rested.

Day5) Rested, searched chest (trapped- almost lost Shane), recovered spider mandible, contacted by Peraus Wands- in a hurry.

Day6) Afternoon we headed out of spider lair. Discovered hundreds of Troll mounds. Came to valley of the Temple to Corellon Larethian. Peraus contacts party- grab dirt of the valley and head back to Coniferia ASAP. Race back to crossroads portal (used troll tunnels under spider lair). Continuous hard march back to Coniferia.

Day8) Arrived in Coniferia just after dawn. Peraus tells of discovery of Hlondath's Gate. Also current time is actually beginning of the Flametounge Wars. Party informs Gilomide, paladin of Amaunator about trolls. Prepared for Dubricus, identified / sold treasure, led to Hlondath's Gate- transported to the valley of the Temple to Corellon Larethian. Met Green Warden- told party Primula's grandfather used to be High Priest here and to acquire useful items at elven outpost. Entered temple- fought and killed Dubricus, 1 Phaerim Sorcerer, 1 Orc Adepts, and 10 Orc Barbarians. In the process, rescued captured Young Gold Dragon named Gorgoland. Rested in the Vault of Singing Waters. Cedar almost dies when attempting to open Dubricus' explosive rune trapped spellbook. Primula consecrates the temple.

Day 9) Fight trolls in coniferia, bring Gilomide back to present time because the group was fleeing the scouring of Coniferia by the Emporer of Hlondath.

22nd of Kythorn, 1371) Sleep in, learn of the Death of King Azoun IV of Cormyr. Group heads to Sigil to get tattoos at Fell's Tattoo parlor and fight a Bloodwar crazed Xaositect.

23rd ) Group takes on mission to infiltrate the Zhentarim and find out what is happening with their caravans that come and go from the Dessert Mout Mountains. The harper mage and priest of Azuth, Deveral falls victim to the Tri-fold curse of Mystra after forging Manshoon's sigil on the letters of introduction for the party.

25th) Group meets Khemed, the Calishite Zhentarim mage at Haldreth's Glen.

26th) Just after midnight of the 25th the group joined up with Darvin's caravan. The caravan halted for rest a couple of hours before dawn. The caravan encountered Ettins in the foothills of the Dessert Mouth Mountains.

Flamerule, Summertide- 1371

6) Second Zhentarim Oasis - Group attacked by shadows during the night. Meet Artrinn Tribe; run from 200 angry Mahlajai toward the Gap of Skulls, arrive at Gap at evening. Attacked by varguille.

7) Gap of Skulls - Zhent, bitten by varguille, becomes one. After a late morning start, scout ahead and fight varguille, drow, skeletons, dragon kin, and an invisible human mage. Kerith dies in the course of battle from accumulated arrow and spell damage.

8) Begin the assault on the drow stronghold. Cedar dies from a bodak's evil gaze.

9) Continue our assualt on the Drow stronghold. Shane dies in the battle with the draegoloth known as Derahtu. Destruction of the last of the members of a drow household.

10) Rest and recovery in drow stronghold. Identify potions, scrolls and wands taken from drow. Find drow spellbook and loot stronghold. Hide loot in pit trap for later recovery, destroy bodies in acid trap

11) Meet the intelligent sword Peranor brother of Meronis; Learn that Khemed is with the Cult of the Dragon, Meet Kymel Kilsek and Roakshane, Harper agents; Learn that the Sharans have allies from Shade Enclave, Witness a Shadowvar army backed by Sharan priests, Monks of the Dark Moon and several score vargouilles leave the Sharan/Temple to attack the Cult of the Dragon's fortress, Assault on the Sharan Temple/Fortress in the Gap of Skulls; defeat of a nightwalker. ...Continued... Free Dorashem Kareel, Transmutation Arcanist and adjunct professor, Lodestar Mountains [Lich], Destroy remaining followers of Shar, and accidently visit Shade Enclave on the plane of shadow, and made an enemy of Leevoth, a high ranking military leader and Shade.

12) Rest and recuperate in Dorashem Kareel's residence.

13) Attack on the Cult of the Dragon. The party chooses to lie in wait and ambush several patrols. They are very successful, eliminating over half of their opposition. Next, Vinnimar!

14th) Party destroys Vinnimar

22nd) Party skirts the eastern edge of the Shoal of thirst encountering salt mines that have been attacked and the Oasis of the Cloven Rock in the Scented Hills under siege by Bedine forces. Party meets Tren Noemfor, of Daggerdale's Most Wanted.

Eleasias

20th) Group leaves the Oasis of the Cloven Rock after nearly a month of rest, research and reconnisance.

23rd) Group enters the Plane of Mirrors and destroy the evil Ten Noemfor, deliver a Good Opposite Tren to a yonger looking Peraus Wands all during a sandstorm which lasts for 4 days.

Eleint

1st) City in the sands. Group explores a city with a shard of Mystryl still existing because of store of heavy magic left over from the time of Netheril. Group destroys the cities Mythal, the heavy magic and put Mystryls shard to rest. Group then descends on the Zhentarim caravan giving no quarter. Then...captured by the Bedine?

4th) Group returns to Daggerdale via Windwalk. Mission Complete! Party spends about 40 days resting, researching and creating more magic items.

Marpenoth

12th) Group leaves Daggerfalls searching for drow raiding parties said to be based near the Dordrien crypts just inside the Northern Daggerhills. Group meets Rodriguez, a flamboyant thespian, who involves them in the mysteries surrounding Shadowhold. Shadowhold is said to be a place cursed and its connection to the Material Plane thin at best.

12th continued...The party delves deeper into Shadowhold, killing Sallust and his minions. They also meet a mysterious Embassedor from Shade Enclave.

13th) Party rests

14th - 15th) Party splits, some go to Daggerfalls to cash/indentify treasure, some stay at Shadowhold, and Xan tracks thr drow raiding parties to the entrance of the Dordrien Crypts. The party leaves word with Lord Morn that they found Shadowhold, and find shockingly horrific evidence of the drow raids. Curiously there was no sign of slave taking and very little looting.

16th) Party enters the Dordrien Crypts. All day long they carefully stalked the old crypts, and fought several demons and some drow that were hiding out. Current Map. Group stirs up the sentries of Szith Morcane, kill several and retreat back to Daggerfalls via Shadowhold and Sigil Portals. Meet with Lord Morn and plan next excursion.

17th) Party returns to attack the drow. During the previous night the drow destroy two more farmsteads and burn Shadowhold, destroying two towers and the central guard house/aerial stables.

17th continued ... The party makes a deal with the Szith Morcane Archmage Solom Ned'razak. The Archmage will immediately withdraw his support from the followers of Kiaransalee. If the group destroys the followers of Kianransalee, the Archmage will put an end to the raids into Daggerdale. The party then raided the guard barracks of Szith Morcane.

17th continued ... Party loots barracks, explores tunnel leading to Szith Morcane, attempt to bring down the forbiddance spell and are rebuffed. Party retreats to the outdoor Dordrien Crypts to rest for the night. Oskar and Xan keep watch outside while the rest of the party sleeps in the rope trick.

18th) Group returns to the House Morcane entrance, dispel the forbiddance spell and destroy several vampire guards, driders and nobels of House T'Sarren. Group frees Dessa Sik-Morcane (a priestess of Lolth and Barbarian) but she falls to one of the T'Sarren nieces. Oskar falls to a Black Guard.

18th) Continued - showdown fight with the last priestess of house T'Sarren. Group sweeps entire level clean and then make deal with Solom Ned'razak to seal the entrance to the Dordrien crypts and end this.

19th - 21st) Group goes back to daggerfalls. Cedar discovers a way to find the Nether Scrolls.

22nd of Marpenoth - where we will pick up next time.


Marpenoth 28th to 6th of Nightal, 1371 D.R. - Group sold gear and put a down payment on restoring Shadowhold. They owe about 123,000 gl by next fall. Group is going to have a one year celebration on the first of Hammer. Then the plan is to head south and see what is up with the Nether Scrolls.

The group has also learned that they can get in touch with Beldin of The Sword of the Dales adventuring group through Randal Morn. He knows of the location of the Mines of Tethyamar and is will to share the information if the group is serious about reclaiming these lost mines.

8th of Hammer, 1372 D.R. Year of Wild Magic - Group arrives North of Mintar and attack some Zhentarim held up in an Inn (The Giant's Throne), kill and the Zhentarim but allow the Innkeeper and his two sons to die.

22nd of Hammer, 1372 - pary goes to the Spirit Soaring temple of Denier, meet Cadderly, and Prince Brennus Tanthul of Shade Enclave. Oskar is raised, group travels to Athcatla to buy new gear, meet the Sword of the Dales adventuring group and get permission to gain a weapon that will help them defeat the guardian of the Mines of Tethyamar. They then head back to Mintar and Kzelter. Group makes contact with the resistance and finds out they are trying to reestablish an old Calishite portal network. Too bad that the only person who had a clue to how they worked was Stedamen, the owner of and inn called The Giants Throne. The resistance is mad at the party and tells them to go away. Group ponders what to do then decides to head back to the inn, only to find that the Zhentarim have killed every man, woman and child in the area, butchered the livestalk and set fires to the houses for "harboring rebels". Group then gets a mission to go with Peraus Wands through Mystra's Time Gate to collect heavy magic from the past.

22nd of Hammer, 1372 - Adventure de la Tragideans. The group deals with the personal hell of a fallen warrior of heaven named Phareal.

Back to the Golden Age of Netheril - the group is employed by the High Arcanist Chronomancer, Father of Chronomancy, to take a famous deceased dwaven warrior to his requested burrial grounds. The group is given a prophecy, meet Lord Shadow, and learn of the Mercane Pact. Afterwards, in the present, the group agrees to head back into the underdark.

24th - 27th of Hammer, 1372 - Party heads into the Deep Wastes of the Underdark. Their journey is blocked by a massive cavein and are forced to confront an Illithid Prison. Complicating matters are the presence of Dalis Ned'razak and his drow ways. Add to that a new member Mr. Tusgrin who says he knows something nobody else does and the patience of our stalwarts is tested.

28th of Hammer, 1372 - Party attacks the illithid prison of Manzessine and encounter an Illithid Body Tamer. Party continues to press deeper through the prison.

30th of Hammer, 1372 - Party meets with a Nowyr oracle to help them in their quest for Maerimydra.

Midwinter - 2nd of Alturiak, 1372 - Party travels to Jungen Town and goes shopping! They free Dalis, and wipe out the last remnants of "spider kissers" from Szith Morcane including Dalis' brother. The group is also introduced to the desmodu deeprunner Brakus.

5th of Alturiak, 1372 - Party defeats all denizens of an underdark hideout of a Zhentarim Beholder Corps. Group rescues Bithra who tells them the Huthocha Belwar the Loquacious can help them in Jungentown. Party travels back to Jungentown, divies up treasure, meet Belwar and then take the portal to Maerimydra. They explore the dead city and infiltrate the castle only to find an embassedor from Shade Enclave named Wyrruth who they leave alone. They find out that Irae T'sarran completed her great revenance and killed every living think in the city. She then took her undead army into the dales and was recently defeated by combined dalesland forces in Mistledale. She has since returned to her Undying Temple and is preparing to mount another slaughter on the lands of light.
